A domain account must be created to serve as service-account for the Agent
The Agent service-account must be:
A local administrator on the BizTalk application server(s) where the agent is installed
A member of the "Performance Monitor Users" local group on the BizTalk server(s)
A member of the "BizTalk Server Administrators"
db_datareader rights on the BizTalk Management Database BizTalkMgmtDb
db_datareader rights on the BizTalk Tracking Database BizTalkDTADb
In the firewall settings, you must allow standard port 80/443 to be open
“Don’t allow other monitoring tools or agents like SCOM performance monitoring
to run on your BizTalk environment(s). This can cause the AIMS agent to disconnect and stop monitoring”
Right click the installer and select “run as administrator”
In the initial screen, copy in your “apiTokenPush” that you have received in an email (screenshot 1 below)
Follow the instructions in the installer.
On the final screen (Summary), the “Environment” section will say “Not found”. This is normal, you can proceed to click the “Install” button. (Screenshot 2 below)
The BizTalk host instances will be restarted during the install to attach the agent profilers.
Once installed, you can open the Windows Services to verify that the agent is running
